Prince Caspian: Return To Narnia

Posted by ajreilly on

The Hampstead Stage Company (HSC), a national professional touring theatre company based in Center Barnstead, NH, is visiting Santa Fe with their acclaimed show, “Prince Caspian: Return to Narnia” in a series of free performances at the Santa Fe Public Library.

C.S. Lewis’ classic, Prince Caspian, finds the Pevensie siblings returning to the land of Narnia. A thousand years have passed in the realm since their last visit. The children once again join the colorful creatures of Narnia in combat against an evil villain who prevents the rightful Prince Caspian from ruling the land. Through this story, we hope to encourage students to stand up for what is right and to help those around them.

This play is recommended for ages 5 and up.

The Hampstead Stage Company will be appearing at the three Santa Fe Public Libraries:

Friday, November 16, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Southside Branch Library, 6599 Jaguar Drive (955-2828)

Saturday, November 17, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

La Farge Branch Library, 1730 Llano Street (955-4863)

Sunday, November 18, 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Main Library, 145 Washington Avenue (955-6783)

Each year, HSC performs over 2,000 shows across the nation in various venues including theatres, schools, libraries, and more. HSC’s interactive educational tours run year-round and are performed by two professional actors, each playing multiple roles. HSC was founded in 1984 and is dedicated to providing high quality theatre to under-served communities.

This FREE children’s program is sponsored by the Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library.
