The Santa Fe Public Library 2019 Summer Reading Program:

“A Universe of Stories”

May 20 – July 21, 2019

Registration begins May 20, 2019

The Santa Fe Public Library presents “A Universe of Stories”, the Library’s annual children’s Summer Reading Program. Enter and participate for the chance to win a bicycle!

8 weeks of FREE programming will include: Music, folk art, wildlife, and more!  Live theatre, opera, crafts to enliven the astronomer in you, and talking puppets are all a part of this year’s exciting Summer Reading extravaganza! All programs are FREE.

Toddlers and children ages 0 through 12 are eligible to participate in the 2019 “A Universe of Stories” Summer Reading Program. Children may read on their own or parents or caregivers may read to their children. They can read their own books or library books.

Register your child in your branch library’s children’s room to receive your first log. Return your weekly log to the children’s library where you registered.  Children must read six picture books or six chapters of a book and record the titles on their log. When you return your log to the library, you are eligible for a prize and can earn chances to win a new bicycle.

All children who participate in the summer reading program are invited to a party at the end of the 8 week program at their library branch. Children will receive a certificate showing their reading accomplishment and there will be drawings for bicycles.

Registration begins Monday, May 20th at all three libraries. For more information check santafelibrary.org or contact the library nearest you:
