Join us for a book discussion of the 2009 novel Hotel on the corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. Set in Seattle’s Japantown, this novel examines a love affair set amid the chaos of blackouts, curfews, and FBI raids of post-Pearl Harbor America and the resulting internment of Japanese American citizens. It is requested that attendees read the book prior to the discussion.
