Santa Fe Dreamers Project provides an update about immigration policy in the new administration and an outlook on what the Biden administration has in store and what options there will be for people wishing to immigrate to the US, for people who are undocumented in the US, and for people seeking asylum. The Trump Administration issued 400 Executive Orders on immigration in the last 4 years and the landscape of immigration policy has been transformed. Understanding the realities of the law and public policy is critical to engaging with stories about immigration and linking it to the experience of actual people making decisions around this.
