Mindful Caregiving Series: Mindfulness tools to cope with the duties of caring for another. This is open to anyone wanting to learn more mindfulness tools – it truly applies to all.

 

Creating Meaningful Connections and Support

Social engagement is one of the top predictors of longevity. Learn how you can create impactful relationships. We will also introduce you to resources specific to Santa Fe that you may not know about for caregivers of dementia and other senior resources.  

 

Melissa Smith-Wilkinson 

Join founder of Caregiver Wellness Retreat, a nonprofit dedicated to the well-being of caregivers of Alzheimer’s and other dementias for a Caregiver series that will focus on how you can improve your quality of life, perseverance and ability to handle stressful situations. Melissa will be offering real-time mindfulness tools and techniques that are simple and easy to implement throughout the day. Her background of 30 years in the wellness industry combined with the understanding of the needs and challenges that caregivers face, give her a unique perspective to offer these teachings. She is the director of Santa Fe nonprofit, Caregiver Wellness Retreat www.caregiverwellnessretreat.com which offers free online retreats for caregivers of Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
