Guaranteed: Women and the Vote, The History of Women’s Suffrage

Guaranteed: Women and the Vote will be on exhibition at Southside Branch Library for the month of June, 2022. Sponsored and produced by the League of Women Voters of Los Alamos, this exhibit was originally designed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment in 2020. Guaranteed: Women and the Vote explores the history of the women’s suffrage movement, with an emphasis on the contributions of New Mexicans who helped secure women’s right to vote.

Stop by Southside Branch Library to learn more about this important period in history, told through the stories of both national and local suffragists, including the League of Women Voters. Informational panels, banners, sashes, and period clothing will be on display.

June 3 – 30, 2022. Southside Branch Library 6599 Jaguar Dr. Santa Fe, NM 87507
