Join us for an online performance with Felicia Sanchez Garbiso as she re-tells some of her favorite stories written by some of our favorite authors. Including the stories La hormiguita, Red Ridin’ in the Hood, her version of La Llorona, and several more.

Felicia Sanchez Garbiso is a Pueblo, Co native who holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University –Pueblo. She has been involved in the community for several years as a bilingual storyteller and workshop presenter. She has performed Storytelling throughout the Pueblo region at community events, including Elementary and Middle Schools and local library functions. A storyteller at heart Felicia has a passion for teaching great lessons through her storytelling and is proud to embrace her culture in such a meaningful and traditional way. Through her storytelling she enjoys connecting with people of all ages especially children and young adults while expressing the importance of literacy and the value of education.
