Santa Fe Public Library invites the community to participate in Remembering Saigon, open mics on Saturday, April 26th and Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at the Main Library (145 Washington Ave / 87501).
We invite author and poetry readings, personal narratives, songs, performances, and expert analysis of the Vietnam War’s enduring impact. Join us as we explore this pivotal chapter in history and foster meaningful conversations about the fall of Saigon.
Submit your proposal to take part in the line-up for these important community open mics and discussions. The Library will connect with selected participants to schedule and collaborate with.
1. Pick up the bookmark design template from the Library.

2. Return completed bookmark design to the Library (best for printing purposes). You may scan and email your design to library@santafenm.gov if you are unable to submit design in person.

3. Your design may be selected and printed as bookmarks, distributed throughout the Santa Fe Libraries and community.

Santa Fe Public Library – La Farge Branch is looking for 3-5 teens to paint a small, site-specific mural at the library this summer. Participants will work with a library staff member to design and paint the mural over the course of several work sessions, with times/dates determined by participant schedules.
Interested teens must be between 13 and 18 years of age and reside in Santa Fe.
