Voluntarily and involuntary, we move through grief. It is my hope that this book will give you a small measure of comfort and direction. You are not alone. Your feelings are valid. It is possible to be happy again. – Terre Reed

The Wind Blows and the Flowers Dance: An Artist Shares Her Life from Loss to Renewal

A dramatic storyteller, Terre Reed shares the intimacy of her relationship with her husband and his death. The reader experiences her thoughts and emotions as life unravels and she struggles to begin again.

This memoir offers a refreshing look at grief. Self-care led Terre to develop her gifts as a painter, poet, and author. Healing comes through choices, comfort, compassion and hope.

Be sure to check out and read The Wind Blows and the Flowers Dance, now available at Santa Fe Public Library!

About the Author

Terre Reed is fearless in her willingness to express emotion and allow the reader into the intimate experience of loss, death, and healing. An observer of the obvious, her zany sense of humor will make you laugh in the middle of her pain.

A diverse, high energy person, Terre continues to live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, home for over forty years. She brings passion and intensity to both work and play. As an artist, she mixes her own colors to capture just the right tone, mood, and nuance. As a master gardener she announces, “I am growing a state fair award-winning pumpkin this year. And since the fair has been canceled, I’ll be the judge.
