Gustavo Arellano, author of Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America, and Land of Enchantment lover, will lecture on how New Mexican cuisine has entranced outsiders for over a century, why it’s never truly traveled outside the state’s borders, and why that’s not necessarily a bad thing!

Gustavo is also an essayist and reporter for various publications and a frequent commentator on radio and television programs.  He was formerly editor of OC Weekly, an alternative newspaper in Orange County, California, and penned the award-winning “¡Ask a Mexican!”, a nationally syndicated column.
